MDLR Airlines is owned by the Murli Dhar Lakh Ram (MDLR) Group. The group is rather big in the real estate and construction industry and has several projects ranging from residential apartments, resorts, restaurants to shopping malls. The group with plans of diversifying to new areas made its entry into the aviation sector with the launch of the airline on the 14th of March, 2007. The airline is based in Gurgaon, India. The Fleet

The Fleet of the airline includes 3 AVRO RJ70. The MDLR Airlines is currently the only airline operating the type of aircraft. The expansion plans of the airline may see the Sukhoi Superjet 100 as part if its fleet.

The airline operates flights to Chandigarh, Ranchi, Delhi and Kolkata. With expansion plans the Kulu Manali Airport and the Gaggal airport at Dharamsala are planned to be included in its network. The airline offers onboard all its flights vegetarian cuisine ranging from Indian, Chinese to Continental. The cabin crew as well as the ground staff ensures that the journey is both comfortable and convenient.

With a staff strength of 250 employees the airline is a rather new entrant to the aviation sector.
